I enjoy the time when I pick a choice and I always end up with the same result. Although everything leads to a result which is order take away, I am still able to explore something different: the food I made turned out different. Compare with all the food, it seems like I am more good at cooking spaghetti than ramen.

Here are some questions and thoughts I have:

This is a “finite” game, and I think I have explored every possible option. Is it possible for this “everyday question” game developed into an “infinite” game? But I question myself if everything has the same ending, where can the infinity take place? in the “in-between” stories?

The story opening sounds so relatable because I have been doing minimum cooking for the past two weeks too. I was considering cooking dinner after class today but this game made me think twice - maybe I should just stick with takeouts for now. Before reading your concept information, I had been finding paths to cook successfully and failed. I was a bit frustrated when I found out that I cannot successfully cook anything at all.  This proves that your concept was very successful!!

Immediately I enjoy the presentation. It’s simple but I appreciate that it isn’t a black screen with white text. This was enjoyable! The writing was funny and relatable and made me want to keep clicking through the options. I think the illusion of choice could be pushed much further, I would love to see more per page even if it leads to nothing.

“With the alarm giving no chance…”

I think there could have been an opportunity to make a choice, even if it leads to the same result in the end. If you care about the illusion of choice and how it the choice doesn’t matter, then I would really lean into that by presenting choices at every possible moment.

Pasta and waiting. Its funny and super relatable. Perhaps the ellipses (...) could go longer and the player has to find the right set to click instead of the choice being highlighted. Like imagine seeing this:

…………………………………………………………………………………. And to continue the player has to find the right one to continue. It would play along with the waiting time too because it takes time to find the right ellipses.

This is too relatable! I really like when the surprise option comes up, after just starting with the options of pasta, ramen, and salad. We go so long thinking that there are three choices, so when a fourth "surprise" option appears, it's engaging in a new way.

There's one moment where if you choose to add an egg to your ramen, it still has you clean up the mess from the egg - but that's the only path I found that had a confusing moment!

I felt sympathetically exhausted when I had to choose takeout at the end, only to be sent back to the beginning to choose what meal I should make again. Great looping storyline! The fire alarm is the only true escape!

Is there anything that you would like to add or change, if you had the time?
